Drupal 9 beta version was released in June 2020 after its predecessor update #Drupal 8.9. The new version didn’t include additional features but rather is a cleaner version of Drupal 8. Upgrading to the new version requires the removal of deprecated codes from Drupal 8. In case you have already removed the deprecated codes from your Drupal 8 site, migrating it to the new version will be a piece of cake.
